Comedy Hack Day

Comedy Hack Day, an initiative by Director’s Fellow Baratunde Thurston’s company Cultivated Wit, is two-day hackathon during which comedians, designers, and developers work together to build hilarious apps and hardware hacks. Participants brainstorm ideas and form teams Saturday then jam for roughly 24 hours building out their creations. The event culminates in public demos of the projects before a live audience and celebrity judges.¬†The winning team from the MIT edition¬†included two Media Lab students among its five members.
